About Under the lemon tree

After a long search we found our dream home in La Caletta. Situated on the ground floor of a small-scale apartment complex with a lovely shady garden full of lemon trees (feel free to pick them, we can't eat them anyway!). We immediately fell in love with the retro furnishings and tried to keep it intact as much as possible during the thorough renovation, but with the comforts of today. The house has 2 spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Although the house is actually intended for 6 people, the cozy living room is equipped with a sofa bed so you never know. Our house is actually a bit 'best of both'. In the typical Sardinian street you look out over the immense mountain landscape, but it is also just a 500-meter walk to the wonderful beach. ​ La Caletta is located on the eastern side of Sardinia and the name means 'small harbour'. It is a cute little fishing village where Sardinian life continues in peace and which fortunately has not yet been discovered by mass tourists. You live there with the locals. There are some small cafes and restaurants with the most delicious local dishes. The harbor is the heart of La Caletta and fresh fish is on the menu here every day.
